About the Role
This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in the Operating Room department, focusing on resource coordination and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the OR.
- Coordinate workflow and patient services within the OR.
- Assist in department operations, including room setup, supplies, and equipment management.
- Support staff during breaks and orientation of new team members.
- Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesia, and recovery staff to ensure safe surgical procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of OR RN experience; proven leadership skills preferred.
- Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
- Current RN license in Missouri or a compact state.
- BLS certification; additional certifications like ACLS and CNOR preferred.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform duties requiring reaching, bending, and twisting.
