About the role
The OR Resource Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with the department leader to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the operating room.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient flow
- Prepare supplies and equipment
- Organize workflows
- Provide relief for staff breaks
- Assist in department operations
- Support new team member orientation
- Work alongside multidisciplinary teams including surgeons and anesthesia providers
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year OR RN experience
- Accredited nursing degree
- Current RN license in Missouri or a compact state
Qualifications
- BLS certification
- ACLS preferred
- CNOR certification advantageous
Physical demands
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
- Prolonged standing
- Various physical movements
