OR Resource Coordinator - RN

About the role

The OR Resource Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with the department leader to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the operating room.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow
• Prepare supplies and equipment
• Organize workflows
• Provide relief for staff breaks
• Assist in department operations
• Support new team member orientation
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams including surgeons and anesthesia providers

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year OR RN experience
• Accredited nursing degree
• Current RN license in Missouri or a compact state

Qualifications

• BLS certification
• ACLS preferred
• CNOR certification advantageous

Physical demands

• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Prolonged standing
• Various physical movements
