OR Intern (RN) - Periop 101 - September 2026 Cohort
Schedule
The introduction of the internship would be Monday through Friday, 5 8-hour day shifts for the first few months. Upon completion, there is a transition internally to one of the downtown Operating Rooms (Main, CHoR, or Ambulatory). This is the clinical portion and we strive for schedules to remain on day shift, but could be subject to shift rotations as needed for precepting. After those weeks, it can be either 4 10-hour or 5 8-hour M-F day shifts. No weekends.
No breaks during the internship, with a week where the schedule is all off-shifts so there can be an exposure to trauma cases as well.
