About the Role

Daily cleaning of all defined Surgical Service areas, including linen handling, equipment and patient transfer, stocking supplies, maintaining inventory, and patient and lab specimen transport. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in accordance with policy and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated Surgical Service areas daily
• Handle linen and transfer equipment and patients
• Stock supplies and maintain inventory
• Transport patient and lab specimens
• Adhere to cleaning policies and procedures

Requirements

• One-year experience in cleaning or janitorial work
• Preferred: OR/OB cleaning or housekeeping experience

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions
• Understand visual aids
• Ability to use and maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals
