OR Assistant

UW Medical Center – Northwest – Operating Rooms is seeking an OR Assistant.

About the role

Be responsible for assisting with room turnover, housekeeping duties in the assigned area of the OR, transportation of patients, and transport of specimens.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cleaning and preparing surgical suite
• Assist in establishing par levels for ancillary supplies
• Transport, and assist with repositioning and/or transfer of patients
• Ensure safety of the patient in the environment (bed positioning and rails, etc.)
• Deliver specimens and transport blood products

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• CNA certification within the State of Washington (preferred)
• Prior intraoperative experience as an aide or orderly, or hospital housekeeping experience (preferred)

Pay

Pay Range: $22.21 – $32.29 hourly

• Full-Time / 40 Hours Per Week
• Day Shift (0900-1730)
