Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope optometry, including comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating eye conditions, prescribing glasses and contact lenses, and referring patients to specialists when medically necessary.
• Collaborate with an experienced doctor and support team to ensure excellent eye health and vision care for patients.
• Support the highly trained staff of 19 employees and 5 providers when coverage is needed.

Requirements

• Optometrist license in the state of California.
• Ability to provide fill-in coverage as scheduled.
• Contact lens fittings.
• Glaucoma certification.
• Treatment of Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents.
• Electronic health record charting.
