The Optometrist, Correctional Facility, conducts examinations of the eye using observation and instruments to determine visual acuity and perception, focus, and coordination to diagnose diseases and other abnormalities for the patient.
Maintains order and supervises the conducts of the incarcerated and protects and maintains the safety of persons and property.
Qualifications
Requires a Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited school of optometry.
Must be licensed to practice optometry in the State of California.
Must have a current DEA license.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must have a valid email address on file for official correspondence.
Benefits
The monthly part-time salary range for this position is $3891.50 to $5159.50.
