Optician

Job Duties

• Develop new business opportunities and help grow existing customer accounts
• Build strong relationships with corporate customers, program managers, and prescribing doctors
• Aid customers in selecting frames, lens types, and lens treatments that best meet their individual needs
• Ensure proper fit, comfort, and optimal visual acuity for each customer
• Place detailed and accurate eyewear orders through VisionWeb
• Verify customer orders and communicate order updates promptly
• Dispense completed orders and provide excellent follow-up service
• Support presentations and program introductions for prospective customers

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working as an optician
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Sales experience, including business-to-business sales or business development, strongly preferred
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware
