Optician

About the role

Park Nicollet welcomes applications for an Optician to join our Eye Care team at our St. Louis Park location. Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. The Optician will join the busiest location in our system, and will assist patients with frames and lens selection based on lifestyle needs and prescription analysis. This role conducts measurements and evaluates patients’ needs before ordering, fits and adjusts eyeware after receipt, and assists with customer service and sales using Sapient to process orders.

Work Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with occasional Saturdays.

Required Qualifications

• Three or more years of related experience.
• American Board of Opticianry (ABO) certification within three years of hire.
• Competency in all the mechanical and instrument skills and knowledge of basic optics and products within the scope of opticianry.
