About the role
Drive profitable sales growth by developing a positive and productive retail-selling environment that ensures premier customer service, customer retention, and outstanding associate, doctor, and host satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
- Foster a retail selling culture to drive profitable store sales
- Develop professional business relationships with doctors
- Recruit, train, develop, motivate, coach, and retain world-class associates
- Ensure the store is effectively merchandised and presented according to standards
- Maintain high quality through accurate measurements, correct pricing, AcuityLogic/Eyefinity/OfficeMate entry, and realistic delivery time quotes
- Maximize managed vision care relationships and sales opportunities
- Ensure timely implementation of approved marketing programs and initiatives
- Maintain positive and productive host relationships
- For remote or hybrid roles, demonstrate high engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Three years of experience as an optician
- Minimum three years of supervisory or lead experience
- State licensure or certification by a nationally-recognized optician association
- Proven track record of sales growth through sales skills and accountability for results
- Ability to facilitate, train, coach, and develop results-oriented, customer-focused retail/sales teams
- Experience recruiting and selecting associates
- Proven experience in a retail or customer service environment
- Ability to present and implement decisive, creative solutions to grow the business
- Strong communication skills to meet or exceed customer expectations and foster positive relationships
- Success in store merchandising and attention to detail
- Ability to manage priorities through adaptability, calculated risk-taking, and follow-up
Pay
Salary range: $65,000.00 – $91,405.00. This role may include eligible bonuses and commissions.
