Optical Licensed Manager - Full Time

Role Overview: The Optical Manager is responsible for leading and managing the optical department, ensuring exceptional member service, department upkeep, and team development. They supervise staff, coach team members, and foster a positive, inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality member service, including answering calls, scheduling exams, and assisting with eyewear adjustments.Manage all sales transactions, ensure accurate payments, and promote products to meet sales goals.Lead, train, and evaluate optical team members, maintaining department standards and compliance.Coordinate with lab services to ensure timely order processing and maintain department cleanliness and organization.Monitor department performance through data analysis, identify opportunities, and communicate results to leadership.Ensure adherence to company policies, privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA), and safety protocols.Maintain a welcoming environment aligning with club standards and deliver service excellence consistently. Qualifications & Skills State opticianlicensure and active license.Knowledge of optical products, sales, and business practices preferred.Leadership experience, with skills in team management, coaching, and results-driven communication.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and attention to detail skills.Open shift availability and at least 18 years of age. Work Conditions: Frequent movement, lifting up to 20 pounds, use of optical tools, and exposure to indoor environmental factors. The role requires physical activity, attention to safety, and discretion with sensitive information.
