The Optical Lab Associate at Gentle Monster supports the daily operations of the optical lab by assisting the Optical Lab Technician with production tasks, administrative duties, inventory management, and shipping preparation. This role helps maintain an organized and efficient workflow by keeping track of lab supplies, assisting with paperwork and order management, and preparing outgoing shipments. What You'll Do Assist the Optical Lab Technician with daily lab operations and production supportHelp organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient lab environmentSupport basic eyewear handling, sorting, and order preparationAssist with maintaining workflow efficiency during busy periodsMonitor and keep track of lab supplies and materialsRestock inventory and notify management when supplies are running lowOrganize storage areas and maintain accurate supply countsAssist with receiving and organizing incoming shipments and materialsFold and assemble ship-out boxes for outgoing ordersPrepare packages for shipping and ensure proper labelingOrganize outgoing deliveries and shipmentsVerify orders are packed correctly before shipmentAssist with administrative and clerical tasks related to lab operationsHelp manage paperwork, filing, and order documentationEnter and update order information in computer systemsAnswer phones and assist with communication between departments when neededSupport scheduling, tracking, and general office organizationMaintain cleanliness and organization throughout the lab areaSupport team members with various operational duties as neededFollow company safety procedures and quality standardsPerform additional duties assigned by management What You Bring Previous lab, warehouse, shipping, or administrative experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent work experienceStrong organizational and multitasking skillsBasic computer and administrative skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentDependable, punctual, and team-orientedAbility to lift boxes and stand for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication and teamwork skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks efficiently Job Details Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time positions availablePay Range:Work Location: on-site Monday through FridayWork Environment: optical laboratory and office environmentMisc.
