Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) is seeking candidates for OPS Motor Vehicle Operators to safely transport the Clinical Research Vehicle (CRV) and support community events on weekends and holidays. Two part-time openings are available, averaging 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport the Clinical Research Vehicle (CRV) in a courteous and reliable manner, strictly observing Florida State traffic laws.
- Drive the CRV to and from assigned event/clinic sites, parking and setting up at designated locations.
- Assist in on-site preparation of the CRV prior to clinic or promotional events.
- Strictly observe patient confidentiality laws and regulations.
- Coordinate driver schedules.
- Maintain proper working order of the CRV by:
- Inspecting the vehicle prior to departure and upon return.
- Keeping the CRV fueled.
- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues.
- Preparing the CRV for return to its permanent storage location.
Requirements
- Valid Florida commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Open availability to work weekends.
- Ability to lift and move equipment for event setup.
Preferred Qualifications
- Class B license.
- Open availability for weekend shifts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour.
Health assessment required.
