OPS Adult Education Recruitment Specialist

About the role
The OPS Adult Education Recruitment Specialist will recruit new students for the Adult Education (AE) Department in the tri-county area (Leon, Gadsden, and Wakulla Counties). The AE Department provides instructional programs including Adult Basic Education (ABE), GED® Preparation, and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
Responsibilities
- Establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable student referrals and recruitment.
- Assist with the distribution of marketing materials (print, social media, website, etc.).
- Follow up with potential students via phone or email.
- Develop and conduct presentations at community events.
- Assist students with applying and registering to the College.
- Track recruitment efforts to determine best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma; Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Reliable transportation in the tri-county area (Leon, Gadsden, and Wakulla Counties).
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Pay
$20.00 per hour.
Schedule
20 hours per week; hours may include weekends and evenings.
