About the role

Join the established Department of Ophthalmology at Baylor Scott & White Healthcare, Central Texas. Team includes: 13 Ophthalmologists / 6 Optometrists. Busy schedules Monday-Friday; dedicated time for clinic, procedures, and laser. Possible bi-weekly time at satellite clinic (22 mile distance).

Responsibilities

  • Perform cataract surgery if desired but not mandatory.
  • Participate in call 4 weeks per year.
  • Utilize Epic EMR system with Kaleidoscope for Eyes; Zeiss Forum for image management.
  • Engage in education with a well-established Ophthalmology Residency Program as well as medical students through Baylor College of Medicine.

Requirements

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine.
  • Uveitis Fellowship training.
  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible with the American Board of Ophthalmology.
