About the role
We are seeking an Advanced Production Technician responsible for operating conveying and drying equipment to ensure a steady supply of raw materials to injection machines.
Key Duties
- Operating dryers and related equipment to maintain uninterrupted material flow
- Performing preventative maintenance and minor mechanical repairs
- Monitoring material flows and checking readings regularly
- Providing guidance to line utilities as needed
- Reporting food safety issues and initiating corrective actions
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing machinery
- Strong mechanical skills with basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively
- Familiarity with computer applications
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Schedule
Work primarily during night shifts with a rotating schedule.
Pay
Compensation ranges from $21 to $23 per hour, with a shift differential of $1.00 for night shifts.
