Operator - Night Shift

$1,000 sign-on bonus paid at 6 months. This position requires passing a background check and drug screen.

Feed Energy is expanding with cutting-edge technology and innovative processes at our Pacific Junction plant. As an Operator, you’ll work with advanced production systems to ensure safe, efficient operations and high-quality products. Starting pay is $22.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience, with eligibility for quarterly bonuses. The shift schedule begins with a 2-2-3 day-shift for the first 3 months of training, then may transition to nights.

Responsibilities

• Follow all standard operating procedures during daily operations.
• Follow safety rules by inspecting safety equipment and maintaining safety standards.
• Prepare machinery for operation.
• Keep records and logs associated with plant operations.
• Operate all valves and pumps associated with plant production systems to move products between tanks.
• Monitor temperatures, pH of products, and processing and transfer times.
• Monitor product for quality assurance, take and maintain product samples as required under procedures.
• Unload and load trailers and rail cars.
• Operate shag tractor to spot trailers.
• Perform housekeeping duties as assigned by Shift Lead, Operations Supervisor, and Plant Management.
• Demonstrate company values in everyday work interactions.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate computer systems including Microsoft Outlook, PIMS, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Ability to read and write English and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa support.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience, with eligibility for quarterly bonuses.

Schedule

Initial training schedule: 2-2-3 day-shift for the first 3 months. May transition to night shifts afterward.
