Operator Level I (Wire Wind) / 2nd Shift

The Impact You'll Make

The primary function of this position is to operate the wire winders for applying hose wire to braider bobbins. This is a 2nd Shift position; Monday through Friday, 2:45 pm to 11:00 pm.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform necessary service functions for Wire Wind Operator
• Clean and lube the bobbin cart wheels when needed and perform all daily inspections, lubricating all lube points
• Set the wire guide beaks and rollers correctly and check the wire oiler periodically
• Verify and adjust tension settings
• Check wire cards on each machine at start of shift
• Use the correct bobbin type
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Assist other operators when possible, and cross train for flexibility
• Work within all safety and quality guidelines
• Perform other duties as necessary

What We're Looking For

Required (Basic) Qualifications: High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year manufacturing experience
