Operator Level II (Wire Wind) / 2nd Shift

The Impact You'll Make

The primary function of this position is to operate the wire winders for applying hose wire to braider bobbins. This is a 2nd Shift position.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform necessary service functions for Wire Wind Operator
• Clean and lube the bobbin cart wheels when needed, and lubricate all lube points
• Perform all daily inspections and set the wire guide beaks and rollers correctly
• Check the wire oiler periodically; verify and adjust tension settings
• Check wire cards on each machine at start of shift, and use the correct bobbin type
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Assist other operators when possible, cross training for flexibility
• Work within all safety and quality guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Required (Basic) Qualifications: High school diploma or GED
• PREFERRED Qualifications: One (1) year manufacturing experience
