Operator I - Utility Operator

About the role

The Gund Company has an immediate opening for an Entry-Level Machine Operator to join our team. Shift: 6am - 2:30pm (M-F) Hourly Wage: $20 - $24 per hour based on experience Work location: Noblesville, IN Machinery: Press Punch Machine & Slitter

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a production punch press.
• Operate slitter machine.
• Inspect and document product measurements to ensure they meet company quality, quantity, and customer standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience is required.
• Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to emergency production needs.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers).
• Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with stamping presses or slitters.
