Operator (Hourly)

About the Role

We are looking for an Operator to join our Operations team in Culpeper, VA. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Moving materials in a safe and orderly way using equipment.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with operator certifications.
• Understanding of safety and general constructability knowledge.
• Able to work side by side with the team when necessary and demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks.
• Maintain professionalism.
• OSHA 10 training at minimum / OSHA 30 preferred.
• Forklift (all kinds) and fall protection trained.
• Mobile elevated work platform trained (boom and scissor).
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights.
• Able to read/write, and see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

Preferred

• Experience with operating a skid steer and water truck is a huge plus.
• Work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
