About The Role
We are looking for an Operator to join our Operations team in Richmond, VA. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Moving materials in a safe and orderly way using equipment
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
Required:
- 1 year of experience with operator certifications
- Understanding of safety and general constructability knowledge
- Able to work side by side with the team when necessary
- Demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks
- Maintain professionalism
- OSHA 10 training at minimum (30 preferred)
- Forklift (all kinds) and fall protection trained
- Mobile elevated work platform trained (boom and scissor)
- Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects
- Climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects
- Work on uneven surfaces/heights
- Able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction
- Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time
Preferred:
- Experience with operating a skid steer and water truck is a huge plus
- Work in an OSHA compliant safety environment
- Must be able to work outside
- Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours
- Punctuality and promptness are required every day
- Employment for this specific position is contingent upon passing a mandatory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening
