About the Role
We are looking for an Operator to join our Operations team in Red Oak, TX. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the role include moving materials in a safe and orderly way using equipment, as well as performing other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
- 1 year of experience with operator certifications
- Understanding of safety and general constructability knowledge
- Ability to work side by side with the team when necessary
- Demonstrated ownership of assigned tasks and maintain professionalism
- OSHA 10 training at minimum/30 preferred
- Forklift (all kinds) and fall protection trained
- Mobile elevated work platform trained (boom and scissor)
Preferred qualifications include experience operating a skid steer and water truck. The candidate must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects, and work on uneven surfaces/heights.
The candidate must also be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction, and lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.
Work Environment
Individuals must work in an OSHA compliant safety environment, be able to work outside, and be able to work overtime and weekend hours. Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
