Operator - Extrusion - Night

Essential Duties And Tasks

• Monitor and control the process, and product, to prevent non-conformance.
• Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to ISO (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) and food safety practices (GMP’s, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees.
• Troubleshoots to resolve problems.
• Responsible for proper packaging and labeling of work-in-process and/or finished product.
• Responsible for accurate documentation of process conditions.
• Maintains computer inventory.
• Machine maintenance.
• Leads and directs crew. Develops crew’s skills and provides training.
• Sets next crew up for success and effectively and efficiently communicates at shift change to Operators and Supervisors.
• Verifies measuring and test instruments calibration through records and control charts prior to use.
• Ensures conformance to winder quality audit sheet.
• Sets up and cleans up machine.

Qualifications, Education And Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
• Nine to twelve months related experience and/or training are preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills are required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
• Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs, and develop solutions and/or options.
• Self-confident, self-motivated, polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
