Operator

Location: Topeka, KS

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations to create a safe working environment.
• Follow instructions provided by a Foreman regarding daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site.
• Safely operate compact equipment as well as heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, and loaders.
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance on equipment.
• Set up and use GPS equipment and laser levels to accurately measure grade.
• Read, interpret, and follow plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
• Demonstrate a continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to provide quality customer service.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a valid email address and phone number.
• Must pass pre-employment screening.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Work indoors or outdoors in all types of environments.
• Bend, kneel, walk on rough terrain, and climb in and out of equipment and work areas.
• OSHA 10 Safety Training.
• Willingness to travel periodically.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
