Operator - Assembler

About the role

Responsible for assembling lightweight composite aerospace structures, including hand drilling, installing brackets, nut plates, clips, rivets, and bonding metallics and composites. Reads and interprets assembly instructions, diagrams, and drawings to ensure precise fabrication of aircraft components. Maintains a clean work environment and collaborates with quality personnel to meet inspection standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit pre-fabricated parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools.
• Perform bonding, torque checks, and setting pins as required.
• Work with detailed instructions, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Maintain safety and organization in the work area.
• Coordinate with team members to meet production standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in complex aircraft assembly.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read drawings and follow engineering orders.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work under supervision.
• Shop floor math skills preferred; A&P certification desired.
• Must be a U.S. Person; visa sponsorship not provided.
• Regular attendance essential.
