Assembler Operator

Responsibilities

• Review documentation for accuracy
• Handle and test relays as defined by supervisors
• Perform visual inspections of relays
• Complete inspection reports, history logs, and associated paperwork
• Receive general instructions on routine assignments and detailed instructions on new assignments
• Train on these and other functions and equipment as required

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED), preferred
• Basic computer skills to make daily data entries for labor hours
• Ability to work well in a team/group environment, as well as independently
• Good eye-hand coordination/dexterity to assemble small parts (plug relays into equipment for testing)
• Good oral and written communications skills to keep Lead/Supervisor informed of progress or issues, and for documentation
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
