Operator 1, Bakery- Sanitation- 3rd Shift

About the role

We are seeking an Operator 1 – Sanitation to join our team at our bakery in Ontario, CA.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily sanitation activities to ensure plant, equipment, and grounds meet food safety and cleanliness standards
• Execute dry and wet cleaning procedures in accordance with established sanitation programs and instructions
• Safely use and maintain sanitation chemicals, tools, and equipment
• Complete required sanitation documentation accurately and consistently (KLEANZ forms)
• Manage time effectively to meet assigned cleaning schedules and productivity expectations
• Maintain accountability for sanitation tools, equipment, and materials
• Support sanitation leadership by completing assigned tasks and contributing to team success

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–3 years of manufacturing sanitation experience
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use tools
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Willingness to learn multiple sanitation tasks and procedures

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
• Experience in food manufacturing or bakery environments (preferred)
• Familiarity with dry and wet sanitation cleaning methods (preferred)
• Experience using sanitation chemicals and documentation systems (preferred)

Pay

Hourly Rate: $23.00 – $24.00

Schedule

Shift: 3rd
Hours: 10:00 PM – 6:30AM
Weekend availability: Required
