About the role
We are seeking an Operations Training Specialist to support our manufacturing teams by delivering engaging training, coordinating learning schedules, and helping employees build the skills needed for success. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader who enjoys working with both small teams and large groups, is highly organized, adaptable, and skilled at problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Prior training experience and mechanical aptitude are a plus, along with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
Estimated hourly base pay:
- Level I: $24.04 - $31.25
- Level II: $27.40 - $35.58

Responsibilities
Operations Training Specialist Level I
- Update Training Materials: Creates and updates standardized training documentation based on operational procedures and quality guidelines.
- Conduct Routine Training Sessions: Conducts routine training sessions to educate members on foundational skills and operational processes.
- Provide Membership Support: Acts as a mentor and lead for members, providing guidance and support.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborates with team members to identify training needs and integrate training initiatives with team objectives.
- Support Problem Resolution: Assists in resolving straightforward operational challenges by recognizing gap-to-standard and resolving or escalating.
Operations Training Specialist Level II
- Develop Training Materials: Designs, develops, and continuously improves standardized training documentation aligned with operational procedures and quality standards. Produces comprehensive learning resources that effectively support and enhance operational performance across teams.
- Conducts Routine & Non-Routine Training Sessions: Conducts structured training sessions focused on foundational skills and core operational procedures. Leads more specialized and adaptive training programs to address complex skills and evolving operational needs.
- Provide Training Support: Serves as a mentor and subject matter expert, offering proactive guidance, support, and practical solutions to team members. Leads efforts to address common operational training challenges, fostering continuous improvement and development.
- Mentor Team Members: Partners with team members to assess training needs and align learning initiatives with team goals. Serves as a knowledgeable resource by mentoring and supporting less experienced colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Problem Resolution: Identifies and addresses routine operational challenges by recognizing deviations from standard procedures. Proactively implements effective, sustainable solutions or escalates issues as appropriate to ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence.
