Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all branch operations and ensure efficient operation on a day-to-day basis.
- Improve productivity and streamline branch activities to maximize results and achieve peak performance.
- Execute facility management and safety activities.
- Maintain every associate/customer interaction as a Premium Experience.
- Support the team with decisions and help when needed; communicate and actively participate within the team; problem solve and manage conflict within the team; provide coaching/feedback where appropriate; train new hires; coach/teach upselling techniques.
- Operate vehicles in a safe and responsible manner; complete DOT required documentation daily; follow defined safe work practices; take ownership of personal safety, and that of co-workers and the public.
- Deliver correct product, in the right amount to all customers at the scheduled delivery times and days; maintain necessary delivery information on all accounts; fulfill customer orders to maintain proper customer inventories; respond promptly to all special service needs and requests.
Qualifications
- CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement.
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Service-oriented with strong face-to-face sales skills.
- Ability to work independently, efficiently, and in different types of weather.
- Ability to effectively interact with customers in a variety of settings.
- Ability to lift and carry an average of 250+ units per day, each weighing up to 45 lbs., using product handling tools as appropriate, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to climb in and out of a commercial vehicle on average 40-55 times per day.
- Ability to work an average 45-hour week or more, including variable start/end times.
- Ability to alternately sit, stand, push, pull and walk all day, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- The ability to obtain a DOT medical card for the purpose of working for Primo Brands.
- In the last 3 years, no license, no driving-related suspension, revocation or cancellation, no disqualifying offenses, no more than 2 moving violations and no reckless driving incidents.
- In the last 3 years, no major driving offenses including DUI/DWI, refusal to test, leaving the scene, driving a commercial vehicle without a CDL, or at-fault fatal accident.
- Strong English language skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service.
