About the role

An Operations Team Lead supports all operational and administrative activities required to run an operating department of a major production environment. Serves as the lead person overseeing department or activity workflow and acts in a leadership capacity in the absence of the Supervisor.

At Ingram, the Operations team serves a key role within the organization, ensuring that our distribution centers and warehouse facilities function at maximum efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Train and develop hourly associates.
  • Act as the department contact for all production systems issues and questions.
  • Provide direction and leadership to associates.
  • Identify, communicate, and ensure all quality and productivity standards are met within the department.
  • Research issues, problems, or concerns and recommend solutions.
  • Meet customer requests, deadlines, commitments, and quality standards in a timely manner.
  • Plan and coordinate work activities, overseeing hourly associates to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
  • Coordinate with other departments on workflow activities.
  • Assist in administering policy and payroll activities.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience with PC-based applications.
  • 1 year of work experience in a warehouse operations environment.
  • 6 months of work experience which includes walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard.

Schedule

Sunday – Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with possible overtime.

Pay

$22.61 and up, depending on experience.
