About the role
The Prince George’s County Department of Public Works & Transportation (DPW&T) is seeking a qualified applicant for the Operations Support Coordinator (Administrative Aide 3A) position in the Office of Highway Maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Provides administrative and secretarial support to Associate Director and staff of the Office of Highway Maintenance (OHM).
- Prioritizes work assignments in support of the Special Services Division and Rehab and Operations Divisions.
- Validates all county claims correspondence, 311 service requests and escalations, snow and ice control planning and coordination.
- Maintains file management, administrative and program support as needed.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of probationary period of nine (9) months at the Administrative Aide II level.
- One (1) year of advanced diverse and/or technical clerical experience which involved working with the public, office management and operational details.
- Aceessory's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or Secretarial Science.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
