About the role
The Operations Support Associate will provide on-site operational support at the assigned facility, ensuring efficient customer service and vehicle readiness.
Responsibilities
- Aid customers with the rental process, including check-in, vehicle assignment, and rental return.
- Prepare rental vehicles for drivers, including fueling, cleaning, installing telematics and license plates, and conducting vehicle inspections.
- Manage and organize vehicle compliance documents.
- Organize the vehicle lot and coordinate vehicle transportation.
- Complete daily rental operations tasks.
- Report vehicle issues, program challenges, and bugs to the designated point of contact.
- Maintain the company’s service standards when interacting with drivers.
- Communicate effectively with on-site staff and remote support teams.
- Provide clear, concise updates and maintain accurate documentation.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in an in-person customer service role (e.g., retail, technical support, hospitality)
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license; satisfactory driving record; and insurable under the company’s policy
- Familiarity with the local market area
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve problems effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to maintain patience, de-escalate situations, and work effectively in a team
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Ability to handle prolonged standing and walking

Commitment
This is a full-time, 5-week contract position (with the possibility of extension) staffed via HireArt. This role is onsite and available to candidates local to the Baltimore, MD area.
