Operations Support 3 (CDL/DOT) - Independence, OR

Key Responsibilities

• Load and deliver fertilizers and chemicals to customer locations in compliance with safety and transport regulations
• Operate equipment to accurately blend fertilizer
• Receive, unload, and organize incoming product shipments; maintain accurate warehouse inventory
• Conduct general maintenance and housekeeping of plant equipment and facilities
• Support miscellaneous operational needs including special projects, attending company-provided training, and providing cross-functional backup as required

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required
• Must have or be willing to obtain the following Endorsements upon hire: Hazmat Endorsement, Tanker Endorsement, Doubles/Triples Endorsement
• Must be able to lift minimum 50lbs
• Willing and able to work Ag Industry hours as seasonal needs dictate, which may include: early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays

Skills & Relevant Experience

• One or more years of related experience in agricultural operations, equipment operation, or facility/warehouse work
• Working knowledge of basic farm equipment, agricultural practices, and local geography (roads, farms, field access points)
• Able to perform multiple tasks in sequence, such as blending products, loading trucks, and completing deliveries
• Able to troubleshoot issues and make quick, practical decisions
• Comfortable with basic math and accurate counting
• Works well with others and communicates clearly
