About the Role
As an Operations Supervisor, you will oversee a team of 20-30 members, ensuring the effective execution of tasks within inbound, outbound, automation, or other business areas. Your role involves collaborating closely with peers to achieve production targets and maintain a seamless workflow throughout your shift.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead in mentoring, developing, and coaching your team members to help them maximize their potential at work. Work on the floor alongside your direct reports while handling disciplinary and employee issues professionally.
- Anticipate and adjust personnel and resources daily to maximize productivity and minimize unplanned overtime.
- Contribute ideas (big and small) on how to improve operations and keep customers happy.
- Coach team members on best practices, provide performance feedback, and collaborate with management, engineers, suppliers, partners, and customer service representatives on various projects and initiatives.
- Advocate for safety, ensuring a safe, secure, clean, and fair work environment every day.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in retail, warehousing, or other team-oriented production environments.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Production Lead, Supervisor, or leading/coaching teams of 20+ associates.
- Ability to stand or walk for an entire shift (10-12 hours per day), bend down, reach overhead, lift/carry up to 30 lbs, and push/pull wheeled clothing racks weighing up to 150 lbs.
- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
