Operations Supervisor: Shipping, Receiving, & Inventory

Key Responsibilities

• Shipping Operations
• Oversee all outbound shipments to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery
• Ensure proper packaging, documentation, and bill of lading creation for domestic and international shipments
• Maintain final quality assurance standards prior to shipment
• Identify and implement improvements to shipping processes
• Receiving Operations
• Supervise inbound shipments including loading, unloading, inspection, and reconciliation
• Ensure all received assets are accurately recorded and verified against documentation
• Maintain proper staging and organization of incoming materials
• Drive efficiency improvements in receiving workflows
• Inventory Management
• Maintain inventory accuracy through audits, cycle counts, and system integrity
• Oversee the placement, movement, and tracking of all assets within the warehouse
• Manage stock levels, material movement discrepancies, and reporting
• Lead, train, and develop a team of warehouse associates across all operational areas

Leadership & Team Development

• Set daily priorities and ensure productivity, quality, and accountability
• Coach team members on performance, safety, and process adherence
• Foster a culture of ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements across departments
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Process Improvement & Operations Excellence

• Monitor performance metrics including accuracy, throughput, and turnaround time
• Support cross-functional initiatives to improve operational outcomes
• Ensure adherence to all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies
• Conduct audits, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
• Promote a safe and organized warehouse environment
