About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor coordinates all daily warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving of customer products. Multiple shifts are available.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate unloading of inbound shipments, stacking of product, and the picking and staging of outbound shipments for maximum productivity
• Ensure efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment
• Establish and implement work schedules and assign job duties for efficient completion
• Maintain product locator system and optimize space utilization
• Maintain warehouse security and cleanliness through effective housekeeping
• Direct work teams to achieve operational objectives
• Complete all records and reports accurately and on time
• Ensure inventory integrity and assist in conducting physical inventories
• Maintain strict Sunland Logistics Solutions and customer sanitation standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Train, plan, assign, and direct work for forklift drivers, team leaders, and other warehouse personnel in accordance with company policies and applicable laws

Requirements

• Experience in warehouse supervision or equivalent
• Broad knowledge of warehouse operations
• Ability to calculate figures and interpret technical documents
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Strong teamwork skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• College degree or High School Diploma with 1–3 years of warehouse management experience
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain it
• Valid Driver’s License or equivalent

Physical Demands

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Frequent walking on level surfaces throughout the day
• Close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds

Work Environment

• Exposure to warehouse areas requiring personal protective equipment (safety glasses with side shields, foot protection)
• Frequent exposure to hot, humid, and cold conditions
• Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals
• Moderate noise level
