Operations Supervisor - Facilities Maintenance

About the role

This position is for the D501 piping trade supervision within the Facilities trade organization. The role involves supervising Maintenance Pipe Fitters.

Responsibilities

• Develop and schedule daily/weekly workloads using CMMS
• Complete work orders in a timely manner
• Maintain safety (JHA) and training programs
• Conduct preventative maintenance program on facilities equipment
• Utilize process improvement programs
• Work with outside contractors and support other Facilities and Operations organizations to complete job tasks

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining steam and/or mechanical systems/equipment
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
• Meet one of the following minimum qualifications:
• 1 year trade experience at electric boat
• 3 year combined relevant experience and leadership experience in a high-volume setting
• 1 year EB experience and an Engineering degree in a related field
• Preferred qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years in pipe fitting
• 2-5 years supervision experience
• Preferred licenses:
• P1, P2 or P3 HVAC
• Compressed Air
• Steam
• Water and Gas
