Operations Strategy and Transformation - Senior Manager
About the role
This Senior Manager role in US Wealth Management Operations leads transformational organizational changes and develops strategic initiatives to enhance operational excellence and competitive positioning. The incumbent serves as a strategic advisor to the Transformation Head, supporting enterprise-wide transformation programs, designing future-state operational models, and developing strategic roadmaps aligned with RBC's business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assist Executive leadership in the Development & Execution of Transformation Strategy: Create comprehensive transformation roadmaps and strategic plans aligned with RBC's business objectives and operational vision
- Lead Organizational Change Initiatives: Spearhead large-scale change programs, managing transitions, stakeholder adoption, and organizational culture transformation
- Design Future-State Operating Models: Architect innovative operational models that enhance efficiency, service delivery, and competitive positioning
- Establish Change Governance & Frameworks: Create governance structures, change management protocols, and organizational frameworks to support transformation
- Manage Strategic Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate executive-level collaboration, build consensus across business units, and ensure alignment throughout transformation journeys
- Develop Strategic Insights & Analytics: Leverage advanced data analytics and market intelligence to inform strategic planning and transformation decisions
- Coach & Mentor Operations Leadership: Develop operations leaders, build change-ready teams, and cultivate organizational capability for sustained transformation
- Articulate compelling change stories, communicate strategic direction, and inspire organizational commitment to transformation
- Represent Operations at Executive Level: Serve as a thought leader and strategic advisor, contributing operational expertise to enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, sharing key performance indicators, track progress, and measure impact on operational and business outcomes
Requirements
- Must-have: 4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent OR High school diploma or equivalent AND 5+ years of securities, banking, technology, communications and/or job specific industry experience
- 2+ years demonstrated strategic thinking and long-term planning capabilities with enterprise-wide perspective and systems thinking. Ability to articulate compelling organizational vision and transformation value
- Business acumen and understanding of competitive landscape
- Executive presence and credibility with C-suite stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Expertise in large-scale organizational change methodologies and frameworks. Ability to build consensus and align diver stakeholders and influence without authority across business units and departments

Benefits
The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $90,000 - $160,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
