Operations Specialist, TDS Global Asset Servicing

About the role

The Global Asset Servicing Corporate Actions team manages daily Corporate Action Events across multiple fixed income products. They handle various aspects including DTC, Euroclear, and foreign depository clearance, settlements, and asset servicing. Key responsibilities include processing Corporate Actions from trade date to settlement date, managing proxy services, and interacting with operations groups globally.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage asset servicing events in proprietary systems.
• Process and reconcile all Corporate Action Events daily.
• Lead the proxy lead for global corporate actions team.
• Escalate and resolve corporate action issues under tight deadlines.
• Handle ad-hoc bond conversion requests and settle claims for Repo/Stock Loan positions.
• Respond to both internal and external inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate with technology to develop, implement, and refine systems and processes.
• Maintain documentation for regulatory, compliance, and audit purposes.
• Pursue automation initiatives to support straight through processing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Asset Servicing Operations.
• Excellent communication skills and self-starter attitude.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment.
• Strong knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, pivots, macros).
• Proven risk management skills and a zero-tolerance policy for poor management practices.
• Broadridge NAPE experience is preferred.
• Multi-tasking skills with prioritizing competing/conflicting priorities.
• Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency.
• Understanding of industry best practices.
• Strong relationships and collaboration within Global Operations and Business Services teams.
