About the role

The Operations Site Lead assists in overseeing operations, acts as a liaison between Transdev Management and employees, and ensures efficient delivery of missions to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain Transdev’s high standard of safety
  • Communicate with management, clients, engineers, and the public
  • Record and communicate delays in service
  • Handle accidents or breakdowns appropriately
  • Investigate and complete accident reports, incidents, safety escalations, and customer complaints
  • Monitor and record employee absence and tardiness
  • Conduct pre-brief and debrief meetings, communicate announcements to the team
  • Coordinate, monitor, and supervise subordinates
  • Inform management about operational/personnel problems and offer ideas for resolution
  • Ensure compliance with global process standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information
  • Cover day-to-day operational needs during call outs or staff shortages
  • Ensure Transdev managed fleet remains operational through maintenance, procurement, and vendor relationships

Requirements

  • Associates degree (or equivalent job experience) with 1 year of Autonomous Vehicle Operations experience
  • Experience with program management tools and Google Workspace
  • Experience in vendor relationship management
  • Experience leading teams to a successful conclusion
  • Proficiency with using a touchscreen smartphone
  • Ability to use a computer to generate reports and schedules
  • Read, understand, and interpret system operating rules, regulations, policies, phases, and routes
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Organize and perform work efficiently with strong attention to detail
  • Awareness and willingness to use Operational Excellence tools and techniques
  • Experience with performance metrics and process improvement
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding department performance goals
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical skills
  • Flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional overtime
  • Punctual, reliable, and team player
  • Ability to type at least 40 adjusted wpm

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

  • Long periods of standing, walking, and sitting
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
  • May work in extreme heat and cold, and in damp environment with moderate noise
  • Time spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer
  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Must be 21 years old
  • All Transdev employees must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • May be subject to a physical screening
  • May be required to participate in a random drug screening program
  • Must maintain an acceptable Driving Record suitable to being approved to drive as part of regular duties
  • Records are monitored on an ongoing or regular basis pursuant to local state law
  • If based in the United States, applicants must be eligible to work in the US without restrictions for any employer at any time
