About the role
The Operations Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of cross-functional healthcare and clinical operations initiatives across Connections Health Solutions' (CHS) behavioral health crisis network. This role oversees multiple, concurrent initiatives from planning through implementation, coordinating with internal teams and outside vendors to hit milestones.

- Develop comprehensive project plans and workplans that outline objectives, milestones, timelines, and resource needs, scaled to the size and complexity of each initiative.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to make sure everyone's aligned with goals and deliverables.
- Keep initiatives on track so they finish on time and deliver intended impact, quality and ROI.
- Build strong partnerships across clinical, operations, IT, and vendor teams to drive results and remove barriers to execution.
- Ensure work stays compliant with healthcare regulatory, privacy (HIPAA), and organizational standards.
- Provide administrative and coordination support to keep initiatives organized and on track.
- Maintain project documentation, action-item and issue logs, status trackers, meeting notes, and shared project files.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items and deliverables.
- Support the build and maturation of a newly forming Project Management Office.
- Develop and maintain standards, templates, SOPs, and reporting tools.
- Support process improvement and change adoption across sites.
- Coordinate allocation of people, budgets, and tools across concurrent initiatives so commitments stay realistic and resources are used well.
- Manage scope and change control, documenting change requests and securing the right approvals for material changes to timeline, cost, or ROI.
- Prepare and deliver status reports, dashboards, and presentations, keeping leadership updated on project goals, timelines, risks, and outcomes.
- Proactively spot and address project risks and issues, putting solutions in place to keep initiatives on schedule and within budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in project coordination, project/program management, operations support, or process improvement, preferably in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail in maintaining project documentation, trackers, schedules, and meeting notes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) and experience with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday.com).
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and proactively drive projects to completion, with strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities; ability to accommodate occasional travel to CHS sites as needed.
Qualifications
- PMP certification (or in progress), and/or a master’s degree such as an MHA, MBA, or MPH.
- Experience working in the field of healthcare, ideally behavioral health or crisis services.
- Experience supporting clinical operations, telehealth/virtual care, EHR, or healthcare vendor implementations.
- Process improvement experience (e.g., LEAN or Six Sigma) and exposure to change management or supporting multi-site initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with project management platforms is strongly preferred, particularly Smartsheet and Monday.com.
- Experience helping stand up or support a PMO, and familiarity with reporting/data tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Pay
Full-time only: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
