Operations Project Coordinator

About the role

The Operations Project Coordinator supports the business and assists with developing solutions to address challenges and meet established organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Document functional requirements, processes and procedures.
• Track and communicate project progress to location management.
• Participate in LEAN process reviews, identify waste, and assist with implementing strategies to eliminate waste.
• Maintain and monitor progress of projects to location management.
• Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the project.
• Support all office and production associates by troubleshooting, identifying problems, finding solutions, or contacting other resources to resolve problems as necessary.
• Adhere to established safety rules and regulations and follow all safety procedures; maintain a safe environment.
• Comply with the attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in an operational staff position or project management is required.
• Experience in the building materials industry is required.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office products.

Pay

Pay Range: $25.00 - $32.00/hour
