Operations Program Manager - L5

About the role

Join the Moorestown Operations Team as an Operations Program Manager (OPM) to lead the Next Generation Launchers Manufacturing Project team. This role balances tactical execution of high-profile production programs with designing and modernizing new ways of executing work for greater efficiency and effectiveness. You will have full accountability for delivering on quality, cost, and schedule for Next Gen Launchers, while coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition.

This position reports to the Launching Systems MPM Sr. Manager and requires the ability to obtain a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a small team in the successful execution of Next Gen Launchers Programs, meeting quality, schedule, and cost targets.
• Work across Moorestown teams including factory operations, program office, and sourcing to ensure intra-LM/RMS scope is executed.
• Drive accountability and partnership across functions to deliver upon expectations.
• Lead strategy for continuously improving production performance.
• Focus on personnel development and coaching.
• Handle Earned Value Management responsibilities, including development of baselines, support plans, and recovery plans as required.
• Lead Prod Ops proposal efforts and develop accurate and competitive bids for future work.
• Effectively communicate operations status and strategy to both senior leadership and the production execution team.
• Occasional availability off-hours to respond to emerging manufacturing needs.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading teams.
• Ability to work cross-functionally.
• Earned value and financial management expertise.
• Typically requires 8+ years of related professional experience (Level 5 employee).

Desired Skills

• Program management experience.
• Experience with multiple Lockheed Martin Programs and/or sites.
• RMS Production Operations experience.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $145,100.00 - $269,500.00. The salary range is a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, market considerations, and business needs.
