Operations Performance Specialist

Job Title: Operations Performance Specialist Location: Syracuse, New York (On-Site) Job Summary: We are representing an opportunity for an Operations Performance Specialist supporting manufacturing performance improvement through data-driven analysis, reporting, and operational planning. Our team is looking for a candidate who can turn complex operational data into practical insights that help improve capacity utilization, schedule attainment, service recovery, and backlog performance. Responsibilities Develop analytical tools and models to evaluate manufacturing capacity, bottlenecks, constraints, and throughput opportunities.Create dashboards, scorecards, and visualization tools to support leadership decision-making and performance tracking.Analyze demand, production, inventory, and order fulfillment data to identify root causes affecting service and delivery performance.Support data quality, reporting consistency, SAP data utilization, and continuous improvement initiatives across operations functions. Required Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.Minimum one (1) year of experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, business analytics, data analytics, or a related discipline.One (1) to five (5) years of experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, business analytics, or related disciplines.Experience with SAP, Power BI dashboard development, Minitab or equivalent statistical analysis software, SQL, and Excel.Knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, inventory management, service metrics, schedule attainment, and backlog management.Strong analytical problem-solving, statistical analysis, root cause analysis, cross-functional collaboration, project management, communication, and continuous improvement skills.
