Operations Manager Trainee
About the role
The Operations Manager Trainee (OMT) role at Clarksville Modern Dentistry is designed to help individuals gain the necessary skills and knowledge to independently manage a financially viable PDS supported dental office. The OMT is expected to be able to manage a dental office independently within 4-6 months after completing the OM Development Program.
Responsibilities

- Assess, hire, and retain team members through comprehensive training, supervision, counseling, and coaching
- Resolve staff and patient issues by analyzing facts and developing solutions
- Drive year-over-year revenue and profit growth
- Manage expenses to achieve monthly goals and budget
- Show proficiency and adherence to cash management and accounting protocols
- Deliver effective leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies
- Implement an office success plan and ensure compliance with company policies, state, federal, and other regulatory bodies
- Report weekly to the Regional Manager on accomplishments, areas for improvement, and effectiveness of systems
- Develop and implement an office success plan; including development of staff and office protocols to provide for efficient operations during manager absences
- Other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five or more years of related work experience in operational management
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance or reliable alternate transportation
- Knowledge of Dental Plans, insurances fees, administrative guidelines, limitations and exclusions, reporting systems; business correspondence and business reporting techniques; and business principles of profit & loss statements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, Epic, 1VU, BOX, and standard office equipment
- Ability to multitask effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of financial acumen, process focus, and influencer skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- Five or more years of experience leading a team, mentoring, and coaching subordinates
- Knowledge of patient advocacy, financial acumen, and process focus
- Ability to influence and build trust with team members

Compensation
$27.75 - $38.75 / Hourly
Pay
This role will be a salaried position upon completion of the Operations Manager training program.
Schedule
The work environment is primarily sedentary but may require field visits and driving. Temperatures are controlled with no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. Noise levels are usually low to moderate. The team member is required to sit, stand, walk, keyboard, use a computer keyboard, calculator, and other standard office equipment.
