About the role

The Operations Manager - Regional Distribution Center role at Target focuses on influencing with a focus on safety, leadership, excellence, self-motivation, problem-solving and teamwork. This role involves fostering a "safety first" culture through awareness, training and accountability, establishing oneself as an engaging and inclusive leader, maximizing team productivity, growth and development, creating a positive work environment through real-time observation and specific, constructive and actionable feedback, ensuring operational plans are executed, performance and budget goals are achieved, and teams are kept informed and coordinated across functions. The role also involves innovating with new approaches to process and method, implementing future process flow optimization, finding root causes to problems, and committing to others.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with the ability to engage and motivate others
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Good reasoning, conflict-management, and analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including the mezzanine platforms
  • Able to read and interpret necessary policies and procedures to perform updates and operate systems and other programs within the Distribution Center, for example, ability to traverse conveyor crossovers

Pay

The pay range is $73,000.00 - $132,000.00. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications.
