About the role
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouses. Your responsibilities go beyond daily management—you will implement processes to optimize warehouse operations, guide your team, foster a safe and productive work environment, and drive the overall success of DHL Supply Chain.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports by providing coaching, guidance, and support while fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plans, standardized processes, and best practices to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
- Uphold compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Compile comprehensive reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity and accuracy metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Foster open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates to promote transparency, alignment, and teamwork.
- Partner with Human Resources and site leadership to ensure a comprehensive hiring process for Supervisors, providing input to select top talent aligned with organizational values.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and prompt fulfillment of customer orders, exceeding expectations.
- Engage in strong partnerships with customers to proactively address concerns and achieve exceptional satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
- 1+ years of logistics industry experience (required).
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role (required).
- Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management (preferred).
