Operations Manager 1, Multi-Service

InReach is seeking a Vending Operations Manager for our Santa Clara, California branch. This is a 3rd shift role.

About the Role

Lead daily operations for two or more core service areas at a client site, ensuring exceptional service delivery, client satisfaction, and long-term retention. Implement operational strategies that support client objectives, drive performance, and contribute to profitable growth. Supervise team members, allocate resources, monitor operating standards, and develop new programs to enhance service offerings.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction, and deploying resources; typically responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews, and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within the career band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional, or operational areas, processes, or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations to ensure employees have appropriate equipment and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.
• Supervise day-to-day work activities by delegating authority and assigning and prioritizing activities.
• Establish operating standards, implement quality improvements, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and drive initiatives to enhance performance standards.
• Apply problem-solving skills to optimize daily operations and resource use.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of management experience.
• 3 years of related experience.

Skills

• Knowledge across facilities management operations, including custodial, housekeeping, grounds, pest control, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Business and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and controlling costs.
• Customer service expertise focused on relationship building and communication.
• Leadership skills to develop teams, delegate effectively, and maintain accountability.
• Proactive, resourceful approach to solving operational challenges and supporting daily functions.

Pay

$89,250 per year - $115,500 per year. Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Salary offers are based on specific criteria like experience, skills, education, and training.
