Operations Filler Operator I (Nights)

Responsibilities

• Operates Aseptic filling machines and associated machines to maximize product quality and efficiency.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area, stocking supplies and materials for the next shift.
• Assists with routine maintenance on filling machines, working with and communicating with Maintenance and Management.
• Assists in relieving other production team members for breaks and absences.
• Performs quality checks, including weight checks, machine checks, sterility checks, and package integrity checks.
• Troubleshoots and resolves basic to moderate operating difficulties involving area equipment.
• Prepares and completes all area paperwork with legible handwriting as required by the FDA.
• Maintains operational efficiencies, yields, scrap loss, and other key indicators to improve plant productivity.
• Ensures the work area is always audit-ready and wears appropriate PPE when required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Basic math skills
• Working knowledge of business, computer, and math
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of GMP's, HACCP, and SQF programs
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve moderate to complex issues
• Understanding of all procedures with all allergens
• Ability to follow GMP's and Safety Procedures established by Management
• Ability to make quick and accurate decisions that aid in production
• Ability to work around major allergens
• Ability to climb/walk steps frequently
